Complaints Office Opened in Cases of Discrimination and Harassment.

With the start of the winter semester 20/21 and the adoption of the anti-discrimination directive in October 2020, the Complaints Office for Discrimination and Harassment began its work. Employees and students of the University of Bayreuth who experience discrimination and harassment can contact it.
The Complaints Office has the following tasks:
- advising the complainants
- investigating and legally examining the facts of the case within the framework of the complaints procedure
- a written report of the results, and
- taking action to eliminate existing discrimination and prevent future discrimination.
The complaint procedure is regulated in detail in the Anti-Discrimination Policy of the University of Bayreuth, §§ 8-12.
